The STIHL MSA 60 C-B Cordless Chainsaw

Weighing just 2.5 kg, without the battery, this versatile domestic chainsaw features a 12-inch (30 cm) bar, 13.2 m/s chain speed, and narrow ¼-inch PM3 saw chain for high-precision cutting.

Also fitted with a potentiometer, for infinitely variable speed control, the MSA 60 CB’s low vibration levels ensure that it’s a very comfortable chainsaw to use.

STIHL’s EC Engine

Compact and lightweight, the EC engine is extremely efficient and very easy to maintain. It boasts a long service life and fully optimises the battery’s power.

And with a sound power level of just 91 dB(A), this battery-powered chainsaw is quiet when operating too.

Quick Chain Tensioning

STIHL’s Quick Chain Tensioning allows you to quickly tighten, loosen or replace the MSA 60’s chain, simply by turning a wheel on the tool.

Just turn it to the right to increase the saw chain’s tension and left to loosen. When you tighten the sprocket cover, the guide bar is automatically secured in place.

The Quick Stop Super Chain Brake

STIHL’s unique Quick Stop Super Chain Brake allows you to activate the chain brake using the chainsaw’s rear handle, regardless of your working position. This safety feature is particularly useful when you’re working on jobs that require frequently stopping the machine.

Should you experience sufficiently strong kickback, if the front hand guard is operated, or when you release the rear handle, the chain is stopped in seconds.

Ergonomically Designed Handles

The MSA 60 CB is designed with a soft-grip rear control handle, including Ergo Lever. Not only is this soft material exceptionally comfortable to hold, but it also improves your grip on the chainsaw, especially in wet conditions.

As the STIHL MSA 60 includes an ergonomically designed front handle as well, this encourages you to always adopt a safe 2-handed posture when operating the chainsaw, making for excellent working practice.

The MSA 60 CB’s Oil Tank

This cordless chainsaw has a transparent oil tank, allowing you to monitor the oil level without removing the tank cap. When more oil is eventually needed, the cap can easily be removed, without using tools.

These little examples of STIHL’s attention to detail mean you don’t need to waste unnecessary time checking or adding oil, leaving you free to press on with the task in hand.

Battery and Charger Included

Because this product is the full chainsaw kit, it includes a STIHL AK 20 battery and AL 101 charger. This battery has a working time of up to 40 minutes, when fully charged.
