An all-round 41 cm cordless lawnmower for domestic users

A part of Mountfield's 48V, Freedom 500 battery-powered range, the Empress 41 Li is an impressive 41 cm steel deck, 4-in-1 mowing method, self-propelled lawnmower designed for medium-to-large domestic lawns. Please choose the appropriate kit option from the drop-down menu.

Collect, discharge, or mulch cuttings

The cutting height is centrally adjusted through 6 positions 22-65 mm to suit. Cuttings can be collected in the 60 Litre canvas/hard top grass bag that has a warning full indicator, discharged to the rear by removing the grass box or to the side via the side-discharge chute, or finely shredded and dispersed onto the ground almost-invisibly to fertilise the soil - know as mulching - when the included mulch plug is fitted.

Excellent manoeuvrability is guaranteed

As a self-propelled machine that propels itself forward at a fixed speed of 3.7 Km/h, there is no user effort required to push the machine which is particularly useful for reducing operator fatigue when mowing larger gardens or those with sloped terrain, or those who struggle to push a lawnmower around.

Additional features make for convenient use and storage

Ball bearings in the 200 mm grooved wheels offer smoother movement and limit the damage caused to the surface of the lawn during use. The ergonomically designed handlebar is not only comfortable to hold and operate, but also folds down for space-saving storage.

Being battery-powered gives the freedom to use the lawnmower in the farthest corners of your lawn without the restriction of a power cable; its quieter operation and zero emissions are kinder to the operator and the environment, too. A battery-powered machine is virtually maintenance-free, as there is no messy petrol oil or fiddly spark plugs to replace.

Kit options

The shell comprises of the unit only and does not include any batteries or chargers, should these already be owned. However at least 1 battery and a charger are required to operate the lawnmower, and the kit includes 1 x 48V 2.0 Ah battery, 1 x 48V 4.0 Ah battery, and a 48V fast charger. You can also purchase any Mountfield 48V batteries and chargers separately, to suit your personal requirements.
