A versatile lawnmower with exceptional manoeuvrability for domestic lawns

The LM1702E-SP is new for 2022, and is a battery-powered lawnmower from cordless specialists EGO. Lighter, easier-to-use, and more environmentally friendly than a non-battery machine, this lawnmower offers user-friendly versatile mowing of medium-sized domestic lawns. It includes a battery and a charger.

Mow the way you want to

Cuttings can be collected in the ample 55 Litre collection bag, or with the collector removed they can be discharged to the rear of the lawnmower. Additionally, a mulch plug can be purchased separately to return finely chopped cuttings to the surface of the lawn. The cutting height can be set to any of 7 preset positions across 20-80 mm.

Excellent manoeuvrability, even on sloped lawns

This lawnmower is incredibly easy to manoeuvre across lawns with some slopes, even for those who struggle with a push machine; it is self-propelled meaning it will push itself along, and has a variable speed 0.5-1.4 m/s.

Designed with comfort in mind

To further assist with manoeuvrability, the 42 cm polymer deck is lighter than a steel alternative but also robust and durable. Being battery-powered means less moving parts and therefore fewer vibrations and less maintenance required. The handlebar height can be adjusted for the user to adopt a comfortable working position.

This kit includes everything you need to get mowing

Included in the kit is the lawnmower shell (LM1700E-SP), a 4.0 Ah battery, and a standard battery charger; you can achieve up to 480 m² coverage per full battery charge, which has a 0-100% charging time of 80 minutes. Other EGO Lithium-ion batteries – already owned or purchased separately – can be used to increase run times.
