Easy to start & operate

STIHL’s ErgoStart technology means you only need to use half of the effort usually required to start the FS 56 RC-E, while the starter cord can be pulled at a third of the normal force – quite a reduction. The starting process in general has also been simplified, and a manual fuel pump is available to deliver fuel to the carburettor at the press of a button, ensuring fewer starting strokes after extended breaks in operation.

Comfortable control

Because of the loop handle that comes as standard with this model, it makes the machine perfect for working in confined or tight spaces, enhancing manoeuvrability and the level of control you can exert over it. Reduced-emission engine design

This machine comes with STIHL’s 2-stroke engine with stratified charge. This reduces the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle, resulting in more power with a lower weight, up to 20 percent less fuel consumption and significantly reduced exhaust emissions compared to regular 2-stroke engines.
