A lightweight and quiet cordless hedge trimmer for trimming bushes, shrubs, and medium-sized hedges

The battery-powered HSA 50 has a 50 cm / 20 inch bar length, which comprises of laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened blades, in a patented droplet shape for perfect cuts of twigs up to 8 mm thick and a healthy hedge. Its cutting speed can be adjusted using the rear trigger control for precision, and a screw-on blade tip protector prevents wear when working along walls or other similar boundaries.

Comfortable and effortless working

At just 2.9 kg (without battery) the well-balanced tool weighs very little compared to a full petrol machine, which combined with an ergonomically shaped soft rubber texture control handle, and loop handle with inner switch, makes the HSA 50 easy to use and ensures a comfortable hold for extended periods. The two-handed design makes it suitable for both left and right-handed operators. When not in use, the hanging loop located by the rear handle allows the hedge trimmer to be securely hung on the wall for space-saving storage.

Part of STIHL’s domestic AK System

For medium-sized and large gardens, this hedge trimmer will work with any of STIHL’s AK batteries and can be charged with either the AL 101 or AL 301 charger; batteries and chargers are sold separately, as you may already have them from another tool within the AK series. STIHL recommend the AK 10 battery for optimum performance.

What’s in the box

The hedge trimmer shell (no battery or charger) as well as a blade scabbard are included in the box.
