The latest 4-MIX engine technology from STIHL
This model is the next in line to the popular KM 130 R, with the benefit of STIHL's improved 4-MIX engine design that means easier starting, better handling and a larger fuel tank. This engine uses a fuel-oil mix like a 2-stroke machine, but enjoys the advantages of 4-stroke technology without the drawbacks. Fast acceleration, increased torque and high power, yet lower emissions, better fuel efficiency and reduced noise are the result.
Effortless to use, this is a lightweight & compact machine
The KM 130 R has a weight of only 4.4 kg, which allows it to be a great machine to handle, while also sporting a compact design. The engine's controls are grouped together on a multi-function handle, accessible with one hand, while it is also easy to start, courtesy of a manual fuel pump, meaning fewer strokes are needed. A decompression valve also ensures less force is needed to pull the starter rope, and an auto-reset stop switch makes restarting the engine easy.
A versatile & adaptable tool
Operated with a simple loop-handle, this KombiEngine gives you the control you need for compact areas, ideal for jobs such as thinning between bushes and shrubs. You can use it with all twelve KombiTools, which include the likes of a blower, bristle brush, pick tines, hedge trimmer and brushcutter. They can be attached and removed quickly and easily, courtesy of a quick-release coupling system.
