Extremely user friendly
The modern STIGA Tornado 398 M is equipped with a mechanical transmission enabling gear changing using a simply lever, this gives the user the freedom to also reverse in the Tornado 398 M garden tractor. In addition; with the Tornado 398 M, the user is able to stop and start the electromagnetic blades at the touch of a button using a special clutch; again making it extremely user friendly.
Cutting like a pro
Thanks to a cutting deck of 98 cm, 2 electromagnetic blades and a 7-cutting heights system; the user is able to choose the range of cutting height to suit their preference, or to adapt to the varying grass conditions or type, giving the user full control over the cutting finish.
Designed for comfort and ease
Thanks to the ergonomic design features such as the adjustable high-back STIGA classic seat and the STIGA classic steering wheel; the user is ensured of all day mowing comfort to get the job done. In addition, the Tornado 398 M also features a front bumper which protects the user and the mower from any shocks.
Cleaning the cutting deck has also been made easier with the Tornado 398 M with a special washing link which makes it easier to wash the cutting deck after use.
Option to buy the Mulching Kit
The Tornado 398 M is designed for users who want to mow the grass using a side-discharge function; however, users can also purchase the mulching kit separately should they wish to mulch the grass cutting instead. Mulching the grass means the clippings are shred in a small particles and then dispersed back onto the lawn. This is a great way to give your lawn a natural lawn fertilising through the mulched clippings.
