The STIHL SHA 56 Cordless Vacuum Shredder and Blower

Weighing 3.2kg (without the battery) and supplied with a 40-litre collection bag, the STIHL SHA 56 is specially designed for domestic use. With a blowing force of 8 N, maximum air speed of 56 m/s, and sound power level of 94 dB(A), this cordless vacuum shredder and blower is light to handle and pleasingly powerful too.

The SHA56 also features variable speed control, which allows you to adjust the blowing and suction power to match whatever tasks you have planned.

Converting from the Blower to Vacuum Shredder

Thanks to a user-friendly ‘click and twist’ mechanism, you can convert the STIHL SHA56 from blower to shredder in no time at all, without using any tools. Just click the appropriate tube into place, twist the rotatable handle, and you’re ready to go.

The SHA56’s Adjustable Blower Tube

The SHA 56’s adjustable blower tube has two major benefits. Firstly, it ensures you’re always working comfortably, regardless of your height. Secondly, because you are then operating the tool with the correct posture, you’ll automatically be holding it just the right distance from the ground to ensure consistently high levels of performance.

Battery and Charger Advice

This particular version of the SHA56 only includes the tool’s shell, so you will need to purchase the battery and charger from us separately.

We advise choosing a STIHL AK 20 battery to power this product. It has an operating time of up to 25 minutes, on a full charge, which should be enough for you to clear 75 m² of ground in suction mode or 600 m² in blowing mode.

We also recommend buying a STIHL AL 101 charger. This will fully charge the battery in 180 minutes and can achieve an 80% charge in only 135 minutes.

As an added benefit, both of these products are compatible with other STIHL AK System tools.
