As the machine is fitted with a semi-automatic choke and stop button, it returns straight to the starting position after use, helping prevent the engine from flooding. Furthermore, thanks to its manual fuel pump, this SH56 Stihl requires fewer strokes to fire up the engine, so it’s faster and simpler to start. (You’ll find this an especially useful feature after prolonged breaks in the blower’s operation.)
