This petrol chainsaw weighs roughly 5kg, excluding fuel but including its bar and chain. It features a fuel-efficient 2-MIX engine and 3/8″ P saw chain, designed with a narrow kerf to ensure extremely accurate cutting. The chainsaw’s overall power-to-weight ratio is an impressive 3.2kg/ kW.

You can purchase this chainsaw with either a 30cm (12”) or 35cm (14”) guide bar, allowing you to match it to your precise requirements.

The 2-MIX Engine

The MS 172’s 1.9 hp 2-MIX engine is low maintenance, low emission and highly fuel efficient.
