About the STIHL HSA 50 Battery Hedge Trimmer (Kit)
A lightweight and quiet cordless hedge trimmer kit for trimming medium-sized hedges
This battery-powered hedge trimmer has a 50 cm / 20 inch bar which is made from laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened blades in a patented teardrop shape to ensure perfect cutting of twigs up to 16 mm in diameter, and ultimately a healthy hedge. A rear trigger control allows for precise adjustment of the cutting speed, and a screw-on blade tip protector prevents damage to the blades when working along walls or other similar boundaries.
Comfortable and effortless working
The HSA 50 is a well-balanced, low weight (2.9 kg without battery) machine, which along with an ergonomically shaped soft-grip handle and loop handle with inner switch – which are positioned as such the tool can be used by both left and right-handed operators – make it comfortable to use, even for prolonged periods. When not in use, the machine can be hung on the wall, thanks to a hanging loop situated by the rear handle, for safe and secure storage.
Part of STIHL’s domestic AK System
Designed for medium-sized and large gardens, any batteries from STIHL’s AK System can power the HSA 50, although they recommend the AK 10 battery for optimum performance which is why this kit includes an AK 10 battery and an AL 101 battery charger.
The AK 10 battery will provide up to 50 minutes working time per charge, which is the equivalent to cutting up to 175 m2 of hedge; the AL 101 battery charger will restore the AK 10 battery 0-100% in 95 minutes.
What’s in the box
The hedge trimmer shell, an AK 10 battery, an AL 101 battery charger, and a blade scabbard are included in the box.
This machine is covered by a 2 year warranty with STIHL (T&Cs apply). We will register the machine for you. Any authorised STIHL dealer local to you (if not us) can inspect the machine for warranty claims.
