The TS 410’s Manual Fuel Pump

Thanks to a manual fuel pump, the TS 410 STIHL’s starting process is quick and easy, with fewer strokes needed to start the engine. This feature is especially useful after prolonged breaks in the machine’s operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times to ensure there is sufficient petrol in the carburettor.

Manual Decompression

Opening the decompression valve also makes it easy to start the TS410’s engine. This works by allowing some of the compressed mixture to escape the cylinder, reducing the amount of force required on the starter cord and so protecting the starting mechanism.

As the air filter is left with less intensive work to do, it enjoys a far longer life span than those found in standard filter systems.
