About the STIHL BG 86 Petrol Handheld Leaf Blower
If you want to shift those damp, hard-to-remove leaves from the ground, use a Stihl petrol blower. These machines allow you to effortlessly blow leaves, and similar garden debris, into convenient piles, so you can clear them from your garden with minimal fuss.
This is Stihl’s most powerful hand-held petrol leaf blower, being designed for commercial and heavy-duty domestic use.
The Stihl BG 86 Petrol Blower
Able to remove even the most stubborn of leaves, the Stihl B86 blower is ideal for leaf blowing in larger outdoor areas. Weighing 4.4kg and with a blowing force of 15N, it features a low-maintenance 2-MIX engine.
This extremely efficient 27.2cc engine has lower fuel consumption and exhaust emissions than a standard petrol blower, meaning it’s both more environmentally friendly and costs less to operate. (Please be advised that the BG 86 runs on a 50:1 unleaded petrol to high-quality 2-stroke engine oil ratio.)
Furthermore, thanks to its manual fuel pump, this B86 Petrol Blower requires fewer strokes to fire up the engine, so it’s faster and simpler to start. (You’ll find this an especially useful feature after prolonged breaks in the blower’s operation.)
The Stihl BG 86’s Air Velocity
Supplied with both a flat and round nozzle, this petrol blower makes extremely short work of clearing up leaves. It boasts an air velocity of up to 89 m/s with the flat nozzle and up to 76 m/s with the round one.
The HD2 Filter
The BG 86 Petrol Blower’s HD2 Filter is made from polyethylene, which has oil and water repellent qualities to keep even the smallest dust and dirt particles away from the machine’s working parts. This great feature ensures the blower’s performance is never adversely affected if you use it in particularly dirty areas.
A Hand-Held Petrol Blower with Ergonomic Design
Not only does the ergonomically designed BG 86 Blower feature a soft-grip handle, but when it comes to manoeuvring the machine, the BG86 leaf blower’s throttle lock lever allows you to keep a much more relaxed grip on the handles. This makes operating the blower far less taxing, particularly when using it on longer jobs.
The Stihl B86 Blower’s Low Noise Emissions
The BG86 Leaf Blower is fitted with a muffler too, so only emits 92 dB (A) of noise. This makes it much quieter than most other petrol blowers. So, if you want to enjoy a cleaner, tidier garden, while remaining on cordial terms with your neighbours, this is the petrol leaf blower for you!
(We recommend wearing suitable ear protection when operating any petrol-powered blower.)
The Stihl Warranty
Stihl is amongst the world’s oldest and most-trusted manufacturers of handheld power equipment, making it a go-to brand for petrol blowers. A reassuring 2-year domestic warranty (or 1-year commercial warranty) is included as standard on this BG 86 model.
Stihl Petrol Blowers
You can purchase a Stihl BG Petrol Blower in a range of sizes, so there’s sure to be one suitable for your own commercial or domestic leaf blowing requirements.
