About the SCH GWCE Towed Water Cart
Versatile Watering for Grounds and Livestock: SCH GWCE Towed Water Cart
Getting water to remote parts of a property can be challenging, especially during prolonged dry spells. The SCH GWCE Towed Water Cart provides a convenient mobile supply for gardens, estates, paddocks, and agricultural environments.
Its 40-gallon (180-litre) tank offers ample capacity for a range of jobs. Use it to water trees, shrubs, and other plants or to carry drinking water to livestock. A 12-volt pump and gravity-fed rear tap provide two practical ways to dispense the contents.
Built for Convenient Towing and Everyday Use
Designed to travel behind a suitable towing vehicle, the GWCE water cart runs on 400 x 8 pneumatic tyres. These help it move effectively across typical outdoor terrain. A clevis hitch is included as standard, while an SCH 2-inch (50 mm) ball hitch attachment is available to purchase separately.
This SCH water cart measures approximately 5 ft 5 in (1,650 mm) long, including its towbar. It stands around 3 ft 3 in (1,000 mm) high and measures approximately 2 ft 7 in (775 mm) wide. Its unladen weight is around 84 lb (38 kg).
When the cart is parked, the standard front jack leg provides firm support. This improves stability while filling the tank or dispensing water at a stationary location.
Pressurised Water Where You Need It
A key feature of the GWCE is its 12-volt submersible pump. Powered from the towing tractor’s battery, it delivers a controlled flow for efficient water distribution.
The pump can discharge up to 2.63 gallons (12 litres) per minute. Water is delivered through a heavy-duty 11.5 ft (3.5 m) x 1/2-inch hose. This extra reach is useful when plants or other watering points are not directly beside the cart.
The combination of pump and hose also allows water to be directed more precisely. This can make routine watering quicker and more manageable across larger sites.
Gravity-Fed Discharge for Simpler Tasks
Pressurised delivery is not necessary for every job. For this reason, the GWCE cart also incorporates a 3/4-inch rear tap.
Water can be gravity-fed through this outlet without operating the electric pump. Having two discharge methods makes the cart adaptable to different tasks and working conditions.
From Plant Care to Animal Watering
The GWCE SCH water cart is suitable for horticulture, agriculture, grounds maintenance, and general property care. During dry weather, it allows water to be transported directly to areas without a convenient mains supply.
Its generous tank can support regular watering of trees, shrubs, and plants around larger grounds. The cart can also transport drinking water for livestock and other animals, increasing its usefulness on paddocks and smallholdings.
Durable Equipment from SCH
Manufactured by SCH in Suffolk, the GWCE is designed to provide long-term, dependable service. Its robust yet straightforward construction makes it very well suited to regular outdoor work. It also helps keep ongoing maintenance requirements manageable.
For added convenience, this water cart is supplied fully assembled. There is no lengthy construction process before use, so preparation is kept to a minimum.
Make Water Transport Easier with the SCH GWCE
Combining a 40-gallon (180-litre) tank with two discharge options, the SCH GWCE is a highly practical water cart. Its pneumatic tyres, front jack leg, pump, and heavy-duty hose make it ready for varied watering duties.
