The Mantis Cordless Lawn Mower 40V provides convenient battery-powered mowing for maintaining domestic lawns with less hassle. Designed for lawns around 300m², it combines manageable handling with the freedom of completely cordless operation. There are no trailing extension cables or petrol requirements, making preparation before mowing considerably easier. A simple push-button start and handlebar control also removes the effort associated with traditional pull-start systems.

Efficient Brushless Motor Technology

An advanced brushless motor provides high torque and efficient performance for dependable mowing across suitable domestic lawns. Brushless technology supports longer motor life, reduced vibration and lower operating noise, alongside efficient power delivery. A stated 94dB noise level also helps create a more comfortable mowing experience around residential gardens.

Lightweight and Manoeuvrable Design

The mower combines a durable steel chassis with manageable weight, providing strength without making manoeuvring unnecessarily difficult. With two batteries installed, the complete machine weighs only 20.4kg, supporting comfortable movement throughout the garden. Four double ball-bearing wheels provide smooth movement when navigating around borders, shrubs, flower beds and other garden features. This manoeuvrability makes maintaining more detailed lawn layouts considerably easier than with heavier, less agile machines.

Choose Between Collection and Mulching

Versatile two-in-one mowing functionality allows users to choose between collecting grass clippings or returning them through mulching. For a clean finish, the generous 50-litre collection box gathers clippings as you work across the lawn. Its useful capacity reduces how frequently the collector needs emptying during routine mowing sessions.

Alternatively, the included mulching kit finely processes grass clippings before distributing them back across the lawn. These smaller clippings return useful nutrients to the grass while providing natural protection against dry conditions. Mulching also removes the need to collect and dispose of grass clippings when conditions are suitable.

Dual 40V Battery Performance

The mower requires two BAT40-25 40V 2.5Ah lithium-ion batteries to provide its cordless mowing performance. With two compatible batteries fitted, the mower can maintain approximately 300m² on a single charge. Coverage may vary according to grass conditions, mowing requirements and how the machine is operated.

The interchangeable 40V batteries can also power selected compatible Mantis hedge trimmers and garden blowers. This shared battery platform provides additional flexibility when building a collection of suitable Mantis cordless garden machinery.
