Featuring a wire free installation using the Husqvarna EPOS^TM Plug-in kit which is sold separately; the user can benefit from a virtual boundary that is completely effortless to install, and even easier to adjust if the garden layout was to change.  Using Automower Zone control via the Connect app; the user has full control over the areas in which the Automower can mow in as well as being able to section off any areas that the user doesn’t want the robotic mower to go in.  Furthermore, thanks to the Automower Connect app; the user is able to also set and modify mowing schedules and even cutting heights with ease.

A varied cutting system for excellent cutting precision

The Automower 450X NERA is equipped with an excellent cutting system, featuring spot cutting and spiral cutting modes to ensure a consistent cut throughout the lawn, as well as a patented electric cutting height adjustment system ranging between 20 mm and 60 mm to enhance the lawn quality and a 24 cm cutting deck with 3 pivoting razor blade for a precise cutting finish like no other!

The spot cutting mode comes in handy as a quick mow in areas underneath garden furniture or areas that the mower cannot get access to, therefore the grass is longer; the Automower will mow in spirals to even out the longer grass to match the rest of the lawn.  The spiral cutting mode is activated automatically when the the Automower detects grass that is higher than the rest of the lawn thanks to built in sensors on the cutting discs.

A clever weather timer

Thanks to a weather timer; the Automower will work efficiently when the grass growth is higher and will equally reduce cutting schedules when the weather is drier to preserve the lawn from any unnecessary wear and tear.

Safety & theft protection

The Automower 450X NERA is equipped with GPS theft protection which in the event that the Automower is moved from within the virtual boundary; the user is alerted with location tracking information via the Connect app of the whereabouts of the Automower to prevent the risk of theft.

Furthermore, thanks to excellent built in sensors; the Automower is able to detect any obstacles in its path whilst mowing; and is able to either reduce its speed for a softer collision or to avoid obstacle completely by turning away, making it safe to use around children and pets with supervision.
