The Husqvarna 305 Automower

The Husqvarna 305 Automower weighs 9.4 kg, measures 57 cm (L) x 43 cm (W) x 25 cm (H), and is powered by a 2.1 Ah battery. It is suitable for use on lawns up to 600m² and completely emission free.

With three razor-sharp blades, this robotic mower has a cutting width of 22 cm, and adjustable cutting height of between 20 and 50 mm. Quick, efficient and very easy to operate, it is designed to cut little but often, in order to promote a lush, healthy lawn.

The Automower Husqvarna 305 is also able to handle uneven terrain, including slopes of up to 40% (15% on the lawn’s boundaries). And with a perceived sound level of just 59 dB(A), it is extremely quiet when operating.

The Automower® Connect@Home App

Once you’ve connected the Husqvarna 305 to the company’s Automower® Connect@Home app, you can control its operations via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, from the comfort and convenience of your smartphone.

This fantastic app allows you to manage the mower’s settings and monitor its operations, as well as access useful information about lawncare.

The Benefits of Systematic Passage Mowing

The Automower 305 Husqvarna includes a setting called Systematic Passage Mowing. By reducing the number of turns required, this minimises the risk of wheel tracks showing on your lawn.

Automatic Passage Handling (Patented)

This robotic mower is fitted with sensors that help it find its way through narrow passages. Whenever possible, the mower will vary its route through the passage, once again to avoid creating track marks on your lawn.

Spiral and Spot Cutting Modes

If an area of your lawn has particularly long grass, you can activate the 305 Husqvarna Automower’s Spiral Cutting feature. This means the cutting disc sensors will detect when the mower enters the area in question. It will then adjust its mowing technique accordingly, by adopting a systematic spiral pattern.

Spot cutting follows a similar principle and should be used to mow a limited area of long grass quickly. Here, the Husqvarna AM 305 will mow in very tight spirals to get the job done as quickly and effectively as possible. Once completed, it will automatically return to its regular cutting mode.

Intelligent Protection for Your Lawn

Thanks to its Weather Timer feature, the 305 Automower will adjust its cutting times to suit the changing seasons. This ensures that your lawn always looks pristine, while preventing any unnecessary work being done.

Frost Guard is another of the Auto Mower 305’s weather-beating features. By ensuring that the machine suspends its mowing schedule in the event of frost, it protects your lawn from damage.

Mowing Multiple Gardens

When you buy this Husqvarna mower, it’s possible to programme it to mow separate gardens differently. Using the Automower® Connect@Home app, you can allocate each area its own name and then quickly switch between their customised settings, via the mower’s main menu.

Secondary Areas

If your lawn is divided into separate areas, and there isn’t a connecting passage between the two, you can create what is known as a ‘secondary area’.

Simply set the boundary wire around this zone, then manually move the Husqvarna robot 305 into it. Once you let the mower go, it will resume its work on the chosen setting.

Safe and Secure Robotic Mowing

If this 305 Automower is lifted off the ground, it will immediately stop mowing as a safety precaution.

For your added peace of mind, it is also fitted with an anti-theft alarm.

Charging the Automower 305 Husqvarna

The Husqvarna 305 has a charging time of 60 minutes. Its running time (on a full charge) is also 60 minutes. After completing its work, this mower will automatically return to its charging station.

The Husqvarna 305 Is Easy to Clean

This Husqvarna auto mower 305 is very easy to clean too. It’s perfectly safe to wash the exterior and underside of the machine using a garden hose.

What’s more, the 305 Automower’s body and top cover are simple to remove, allowing you to access every part of the machine that needs cleaning.

Please be advised that when purchasing the Husqvarna Automower, you will also require an installation kit. This provides your mower with everything it needs to map out its designated mowing area.

There are 3 types of kit you can buy:

1. The small kit is perfect for open lawns up to 800 m², or complex lawns up to 400 m². It includes 150 m of loop wire, 300 staples, 3 splicers and 5 connectors.
2. The medium-sized kit is suitable for open lawns up to 2000 m², or complex lawns up to 1000 m². It contains 250 m of loop wire, 400 staples, 3 splicers and 5 connectors.
3. The large kit is designed for open lawns up to 5000 m², or complex lawns up to 2500 m². It consists of 400 m of loop wire, 600 staples, 5 slicers and 5 connectors.
