Reduced-emission engine technology

With STIHL’s 2-MIX engine technology on board, the FS 94 RC-E has more power with a lower weight, up to 20 percent less fuel consumption and significantly reduced exhaust emissions compared to regular 2-stroke engines. This is a result of being a stratified charge engine, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. On top of this, the FS 94 RC-E has a large 0.75 litre fuel tank to let you work for longer with fewer stops. Easy to refuel with an easily accessible opening, the hassle of refuelling just got a lot more straightforward.

Comfortable operation & control

The ECOSPEED system on this machine means you can control the tool’s engine speed individually on the operating handle, allowing you to get the perfect level of power for the job at hand, as well as promoting more efficient operation. The loop handle that this model comes with is designed for use in tight, confined spaces, such as between bushes and shrubs. Finally, STIHL’s effective anti-vibration system dampens oscillations from the engine to reduce vibrations at the handles, making it more practical to use for longer periods without fatigue.

Simple, straightforward starting system

A simplified starting system is combined with ErgoStart technology to reduce the amount of effort required to get the machine running. The force necessary to pull the starter cord is slashed by two thirds, while the overall effort needed to start the tool is halved. Force peaks are smoothed so that the are virtually undetectable through the starter cord, and a manual fuel pump is on hand to deliver fuel to the carburettor, reducing the number of starting strokes following extended breaks in operation.
