A professional lawnmower for medium-sized lawns from STIHL’s cordless AP System
The brand new RMA 253 lawnmower in STIHL’s professional AP battery system is functional, robust, and extremely efficient. Designed for medium-sized gardens with its 53 cm / 21 inch cutting width, it has up to 370m2 coverage per full charge with the most powerful AP 300 S battery (battery and charger sold separately).
Efficient cutting and collection
The fan blade ensures an even cut by using a strong air flow to lift the shards of grass before cutting, which also ensures optimum filling of the large 55 Litre grass catcher box that also includes a handy fill level indicator. The central cutting height adjustment makes it easy to change the height of cut from 25 mm to 75 mm through 7 preset positions in one movement.
Including design features for uncomplicated performance
Manoeuvring the push lawnmower across the lawn is aided by a directional stability profile which keep the wheels perfectly on track. The handlebar folds down to create a compact unit for transport between jobs as well as for space-saving storage. The powder-coated steel deck is robust and ensures a long service life. The RMA 253 is too compatible with the STIHL Smart Connector for fleet management (sold separately).
Battery and charger sold separately
The RMA 253 comes from STIHL’s professional AP System, where all AP batteries are interchangeable with any other machine in the AP battery series. Batteries and a charger are not included with the shell only as these may already owned within your fleet, otherwise at least one battery and a charger are required to operate the lawnmower. STIHL recommend the AP 300 or AP 300S battery for 300m2 or 370 m2 coverage per charge respectively; double your working time with two batteries so you can carry on working whilst one is on charge.
A 2 year professional warranty with STIHL is included, we will register the machine. T&Cs apply.
