Versatile performance

With a cutting tool that can be rotated between 0 and 125 degrees, you will appreciate the large working range of the HLE 71, which makes it suitable for vertical cutting at a distance from the hedge. Ground covering plants and shrubbery can also be cut horizontally. Because it has a long shaft, it is ideal for trimming tall and broad hedges. The cutter bar can also be folded up parallel to the shaft and locked safely for transportation.

Comfortable operation

The HLE 71 is comfortable to use and easy to control thanks to the loop handle on the machine. These handles are ideal for providing excellent freedom of movement in cramped conditions, and a soft grip handle also makes using the trimmer more comfortable (with less vibrations). STIHL's shoulder strap makes working for long periods much less tiring, allowing more movement while holding the unit securely. The harness eyelet rotates, which means you can swing the machine easily.
