The SBC 242 D from Stiga is powered by a modern 42.7cc petrol engine that ensures it is an environmentally friendly solution, while maintaining excellent levels of power.

This model has the advantage of a double safety harness included as standard, while the vibration-dampened double handle allows comfortable, low-fatigue operation. Because the SBC 242 D is controlled with a bike handle, it is ideal for working over large areas with a smooth mowing action, perfect for trimming grass, without leaving you tired and aching.

Versatile cutting heads

With the inclusion of a Tap 'n' Go nylon head and a 3-tooth metal grass blade, you can take on thin, light areas of grass, as well as thicker sections. The Tap 'n' Go head uses double 2.4 mm lines and allows you to renew it as it wears, simply by tapping the head on the ground. The metal blade is suitable for heavier sections of grass and vegetation.
