The STIHL SHA 56 Cordless Vacuum Shredder and Blower

Weighing just 3.2kg (without the battery) and supplied with a spacious 40-litre collection bag, the STIHL SHA 56 is expertly designed for domestic use. Featuring a maximum blowing force of 8 N, maximum air speed of 56 m/s, and sound power level of 94 dB(A), it is light to handle but a very powerful piece of kit.

The SHA 56 also comes with variable speed control, which allows you to adjust the blowing and suction power to match the task in hand.

Changing from Blower to Vacuum Shredder

Thanks to its user-friendly ‘click and twist’ design, you can convert the STIHL SHA56 from blower to shredder in no time at all, without using tools. Simply click the appropriate tube into place, twist the rotatable handle, and you’re ready to vacuum, shred or blow.

The SHA 56’s Adjustable Blower Tube

The SHA56’s adjustable blower tube provides two clear benefits. Firstly, it keeps you working comfortably, whatever your height. Secondly, because you are then adopting the correct posture to operate the machine, you’ll be holding it exactly the right distance from the ground. This will ensure consistently optimised performance.

The Batteries and Charger

Because it is a Promotional Kit, this STIHL SHA 56 Cordless Vacuum Shredder & Blower comes with two AK 20 batteries and a charger included as standard. As the tool only requires one battery, the other can be kept as a spare.

STIHL AK 20 batteries have an operating time of up to 25 minutes, on a full charge – easily enough to clear 75 m² of ground in suction mode or 600 m² in blowing mode.

The STIHL AL 101 will fully charge one of these batteries in 180 minutes. It can achieve an 80% charge in only 135 minutes.

Both batteries and charger are also compatible with other STIHL AK System tools.
