Exceptional Cutting Performance

The MSA 220 T offers the highest cutting performance of any STIHL top-handle cordless chainsaw. Its excellent power-to-weight ratio allows demanding cutting work to be completed comfortably. The saw is fitted with a 3/8″ P PS3 saw chain and Light P04 guide bar for efficient cutting performance.

This cutting combination produces clean and precise cuts while maintaining excellent efficiency. Whether removing branches or cutting sections of timber, the saw delivers dependable results. The balanced design reduces strain on the wrists and improves handling during longer working periods. When used with the recommended AP 300 S battery, the chainsaw achieves outstanding balance and control.

The AP 300 S battery provides working times of up to 29 minutes. For extended operation, the AP 500 S battery can provide up to 34 minutes. This flexibility allows the chainsaw to suit different professional applications.

The captive sprocket cover nuts remain attached during maintenance procedures. This prevents accidental loss when removing the cover. The tool-free oil cap also allows fast and convenient refilling between tasks.
