The STIHL MSA 220 C-B Cordless Chainsaw

With a total weight of 3.68 kg, this high-powered chainsaw has a bar length of 35 cm (14”) and 3/8″ PS3 Pro saw chain. The latter enjoys 20% better cutting performance than similar cordless chainsaws, including 10% more cuts per battery charge.

This cordless chainsaw is also fitted with a potentiometer, which allows for infinitely variable speed control.

The Chainsaw’s Engine

Compact, light in weight and easy to maintain, the STIHL MSA 220C B’s E C engine is able to fully optimise the battery’s power, making it extremely efficient.

This engine has a very long service life too, and with a sound power level of 99 dB(A), it is pleasingly quiet when operating.

Quick Chain Tensioning

If you need to adjust the MSA 220’s chain, there’s no need to use any tools. Thanks to STIHL’s Quick Chain Tensioning, you can easily loosen or tighten it through an adjusting wheel. Simply turn the wheel right to increase tension and left to reduce it. When you tighten the sprocket cover, the guide bar is automatically secured.
