Easily maintain grassed areas with STIHL’s AutoCut mowing head

This model boasts a 1.05 kW 4-MIX engine, which means you get all the benefits of 4-stoke power without the negatives, as it uses mixed lubrication fuel-oil mix technology just like a 2-stroke engine. This results in higher power and torque with faster acceleration, plus less noise and emissions, with higher fuel efficiency.

The included AutoCut mowing head allows you to easily renew the mowing line as it wears, just by tapping the head on the ground during use – resulting in top quality cutting at all times.

An impressive brushcutter that’s easy to use

The FS 111 R has a larger tank, allowing you to work for longer without stopping to top up. For simplified starting, a manual fuel pump is included to deliver fuel to the carburettor at a button press, reducing the number of starting strokes required following periods of inactivity. Similarly, a decompression valve minimises the amount of force you need to pull the starter cord.

After stopping the machine, the stop switch is automatically reset to the starting position so that you can get back up and running more quickly.

Weighing just 5.5 kg and supplied with a single shoulder harness, the FS 111 R is a comfortable machine to work with as soon as you pick it up. It is controlled with a loop handle, which provide benefits when working in confined spaces and for mowing around obstacles. All the engine and speed controls are located on a multi-function handle, giving easy access at all times, while STIHL’s anti-vibration technology is a great addition that results in engine oscillations being dampened and reduced vibrations at the handle.
