The GS 461 is a concrete saw that excels when wet cutting  concrete, stone and masonry, with an impressive cutting depth, great power-to-weight ratio and the ability to cut precise corners.

Special diamond saw chain for supreme cutting performance

This saw features a specially developed 36 GBM diamond saw chain with pre-sharpened diamond segments for wet stone cutting. The chain delivers top performance from the very first cut, enabling it to quickly and smoothly cut concrete, hard stone, brick and ductile cast iron pipes. 

Efficient, easy-to-use design

With STIHL's 2-MIX engine technology on board you can expect less fuel consumption and great performance with high torque over a wide rpm range. A decompression valve makes the machine easier to start, with the starter rope taking less effort to pull. Accessible side chain tensioning makes it easy to adjust the chain and tension, while an anti-vibration system ensures you can use the machine in comfort, with less strain on your back muscles.

Robust & durable build-quality

As you would expect from STIHL, the GS 461 is built to last. A water connection is available, slightly raised, so that you can use a water source to suppress dust, as well as to cool, clean and lubricate the bar and chain. A long-life air filter system ensures even the finest particles and dust cannot enter the tool. The engine is protected against wear so that the machine only requires infrequent servicing. Finally, when cutting walls a large rubber guard protects the engine casing when the guide bar is fully inserted.
