Mountfield's SP53 is a 51 cm / 20 inch cutting width machine, able to collect and mulch for versatile, high quality mowing,  ideal for medium to large size lawns.

Achieve a top class finish

With the SP53 you have a choice of five cutting heights from 27-90 mm, and you can adjust these centrally, allowing you to get the perfect height for your lawn and the time of year with ease. An anti-scalp plate helps protect the surface of the soil from possible damage while mowing, and the inclusion of a mulching plug allows for the most efficient finish possible, while also offering excellent benefits for your lawn's health.

A great machine to use

This mower's handle has an adjustable height, so you can operate it in the most comfortable position possible. It is also ergonomic, reducing fatigue. Also helping minimise the strain of mowing is the self-propelled drive with throttle control, which makes this machine wonderfully easy to use, even on sloping lawns. Large diameter rear wheels combined with ball bearings aid smooth control and easy operation over rough areas. 

Packed with features & quality

The chassis of this mower is comprised of robust powder coated steel that not only provides a great-looking machine, but will give you confidence in your mower's strength and durability. The grass collector is 60 litres and can be easily removed and re-attached as required, while the whole machine is driven by a Mountfield 160cc OM55 OHV engine.

For safety, an operator presence control cut-out is used to stop the mower when your hand leaves the handle.
