Fitted with an impressive engine with large power reserves

The LX-401 is equipped with a modern 4-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 29 kW / 40 hp; the large engine displacement of 1498 cc delivers high levels or torque and ensures ample power reserves needed for major tasks. Featuring a common rail injection system, exhaust gas recirculation, and diesel particulate filter, the engine impresses with its low fuel consumption and latest EU Stage V emissions standard. 

Low noise, precise shifting

The three-range hydrostatic transmission has been especially developed for the LX-Series; you can synchronise the movement speed and engine speed for effortless operation that reduces noise emissions and keeps fuel consumption low. Steering is just as easy thanks to smooth hydraulic power steering, which is particularly beneficial when using heavy implements.

Featuring a rollover protective structure for operator safety

The LX-401 benefits from a ROPS - rollover protective system. The folding bar fitted towards the back of the tractor is designed to protect the operator in the event of an overturn or rollover, by maintaining a space for the operator to occupy.

A superbly versatile machine 

Equipped with a powerful hydraulic system, you can fully exploit this compact tractors versatility by operating a wide range of implements (sold separately). 2 double acting valves at the front and again at the rear are fitted as standard; with just a single lever you can control both valves independently. With a rear lifting capacity of 1150 kg and the option of a front hitch with front PTO, you really can get the most out of the LX-401.

Manoeuvrability has never been easier

This ROPS model has a width of just 1.22 metres for best-in-class manoeuvrability, contributed by the front axle with bevel drive and the Bi-Speed system for improved steering. It has a minimum turning circle radius of 2.2 metres, and the high front axle provides a 24 cm minimum ground clearance for safe movement even over high kerbs. 

Choose the tyres to suit your requirements

The LX-401 can be purchased with agricultural tyres or turf tyres; agricultural tyres have a larger tread depth for good performance in loose soil where traction is a concern but ground disturbance is not, whereas the turf tyres are more flexible and won't damage sensitive turf where ground disturbance is a concern i.e. golf courses.
