The engine is a 45.7 cc X-Torq model, providing extra torque while reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency. You also have the bonus of Smart Start with this machine, reducing resistance in the starter cord and, in conjunction with the fuel pump and auto-return stop switch, helping make starting simple.

To help spread the machine's weight across a larger area, a Balance XT harness is provided as standard with this machine, and can be used with an adjustable eyelet for optimum balance. In conjunction with LowVib anti-vibration dampeners and an adjustable, angled handlebar with soft-grip comfort handles, the 545RXT is a tool you can use for longer without strain. With its transparent fuel tank you won't be caught out when low on fuel. It also has a high offset post, for outstanding freedom of movement.

As a bike-handled machine, you can work over large areas more efficiently, while the long shaft gives extended reach for effortless grass clearing. Supplied with the 545RXT you will receive both a Tap 'n' Go trimmer head (allowing you to renew the line as it wears), perfect for light work, and a metal grass blade, for heavier tasks. A grass bevel gear designed with high torque and to keep the cutting equipment parallel to the ground ensures optimal cutting performance. You can easily switch between the cutting equipment courtesy of a magnetic locking pin.
