With its 300 litre collector, impressive Honda engine and hydrostatic variable transmission, Honda’s 2417 HTE is an excellent choice to keep your garden looking its best.
Collect or mulch & switch your cutting mode with ease
Thanks to Honda’s Versamow system, you can easily switch between collecting or mulching using an intuitive lever. When in mulching mode, the clippings are recycled back into the lawn where they can act as a natural fertiliser. In collecting mode, the Optiflow system uses a fan powered mechanism below the cutter deck to boost air flow and improve collecting performance, with a 300 litre grass catcher ensuring you are not stopping to empty it. With electric dumping, when the time does come it couldn’t be easier.
The cutting blades themselves have an overlapping area for more accurate mowing and to help avoid uncut areas during turns. In addition, seven cut heights are available between 30 and 90 mm, adjustable with a simple lever.

Thanks to its GCV530 OHC V-Twin 4-stroke 530cc engine, the 2417 HTE is an impressive machine that has the power to tackle tough jobs over large areas. This is a low emission model with improved fuel economy as well as electric starting, making it more reliable and easier to operate. Additional features that help to mark this machine out as a premium tractor include the automatic headlights and diagnostic LED dashboard.
Comfortable to drive & easy to use
Despite boasting a large cutting deck and powerful engine, the HF 2417 HTE is still a superbly easy machine to drive, due in part to its incredibly tight turning radius, which makes it suitable even for lawns with obstacles. The cutter deck can be switched on and off easily and without having to restart the engine courtesy of the electromagnetic blade clutch, while the inclusion of hydrostatic variable transmission results in smooth, easy driving without strain.
