Power, durability and ease of use, petrol rear roller mower.
This Hayter Harrier 48 model 476A, complete with a handy electric start engine. High powered Briggs and Stratton engine can be started just by the push of a button starter. This is particularly handy if you have trouble with the recoil rope that standard petrol lawnmowers have and want no more pulling of the recoil cord, enabling you to get mowing quicker.
Variable speed
When engaging the machine to drive you have the option to select the speed that suits, from 1.8 – 3.3 mph; ideal to suit your needs and particular mowing conditions. The height of cut can be set using the seven settings which are controlled by a single counter-balanced lever, enabling you to adjust with ease. The hight of cut can be changed from 13 – 60 mm.
Roller and Deck
Hayters are known for giving your garden a formal striped finish, due to their two-piece ribbed rear roller, which provides excellent traction and yet also makes sure that there is no turf marking when turning the machine. The deck's blade is designed to allow you to trim right to the edges, allowing you to cut around flower beds and retaining walls with ease. The deck is is fitted with a hose connector so that you can clean the underside of the machine without getting too dirty.
