A robust and heavy-duty scarifier for aerating small-to-medium sized lawns
The Eliet E401 is a commercial-quality scarifier suitable for removing moss and similar debris from small-to-medium sized lawns; scarifying aerates the lawn and improves the supply of nutrients and water to the soil, in turn encouraging a noticeably-healthier lawn. Excellent blade performance is ensured
The scarifier has a 40 cm working width and is fitted with 24 double-cut blades; each blade has 2 cutting edges and all blades are mounted in a spiral pattern to prevent all blades from touching the ground at the same time, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal damage to the lawn. Debris is collected in the 60 Litre collection bag. The blade shaft is located within a thick steel housing in order to protect bystanders from flying chippings.
Fitted with large, hard-working wheels
The E401 is fitted with large 20 cm diameter wheels that run more smoothly and are less affected by uneven terrain; the nylon rims are shock-resistant. Height adjustment at the front wheels is infinitely variable. The depth of the rear wheels can be adjusted so that full use of the blades can be taken advantage of, until they are completely worn.
Built to be easy to use, for years to come
The vertical belt tension means the belt retains its natural shape even when its operating to virtually eliminate wear, subsequently significantly extending its operating life. The well-sized rubber deflector protects the operator from anything that is thrown up by the blades if the scarifier is used without the collection bag. The handlebar easily folds down for easy storage and transport.
