The Cub Cadet 55 OHV ES 159cc engine in this machine works with the 53 cm / 21 inch cutting width to cut an area up to 950 m2 per hour. You can choose from an impressive four cutting methods, from collecting, to mulching, to side and rear discharge, based on the health of your lawn, your preferred finish and the time of year. When collecting, the bag is 70 litres, and sports a hard top plus fill indicator. You also have six cut heights to choose from, between 28 and 92 mm.

A great machine to work with

Ball bearings with larger rear wheels make for a smooth drive, while a height adjustable ergonomic handle ensures comfortable operation. It can also be folded down so you can store and transport it more easily. Other ease-of-use features include an easy-start engine and central cut height adjustment.

With the MYSPEED transmission system from Cub Cadet, as soon as you push the handle the machine will move forward at top speed, before then detecting your walking pace and reacting appropriately. If you slow down for corners, the machine knows and reduces the drive accordingly. When you stop, so does your mower. It helps to take the complexity out of managing self-propelled machines with multiple speeds.
