A 20" Dethatching Cartridge is the most aggressive of the variety of cartridges and is compatible with the ALLETT Stirling 51

The most powerful cartridge by ALLETT, the Dethatcher cartridge features thick tines that are wide spaced which helps to penetrate the soil up to 6mm and therefore effectively removes the densest layers of thatch such as dead grass and leaves to help water, air and nutrients to get into the roots of the grass to aid the growth of a healthier, thicker and more luscious lawn.  In comparison; this cartridge removes twice as much as the Verticut cartridge,

When to use the Dethatcher Cartridge?

This process of dethatching should be carried out at least once a year and only when moisture is available for the lawn to recover i.e in late Spring or Autumn.
