The STIHL TPA 20 Cordless Water Pump provides a convenient solution for transferring water around gardens and allotments. Designed for irrigation and drainage, it combines portable battery power with flexible operating modes for different applications.

Powered by the STIHL AS Battery System, this compact pump operates without requiring a nearby mains electricity supply. It is ideal for watering gardens using collected rainwater or emptying small pools, tanks and water containers.

Two-in-One Functionality for Versatile Water Management

The TPA 20 features a two-in-one design, allowing users to switch between standard pumping and flat suction applications. This versatility makes it suitable for everyday garden watering and occasional drainage tasks.

Its removable pump base enables the flat suction function without requiring additional tools. This allows water to be removed from containers and small pools, leaving a residual water depth of approximately 2mm. The pump also features a maximum immersion depth of 2 metres, providing flexibility when working with deeper containers.

Adjustable Power Settings for Different Applications

The intuitive control interface provides straightforward access to three adjustable power levels. These settings allow users to control water pressure and flow according to their requirements. Level 1 delivers 1,300 litres per hour at 0.9 bar, making it suitable for lighter cleaning applications. Level 2 provides 1,700 litres per hour at 1.5 bar, ideal for watering through a standard garden hose. For demanding applications, Level 3 delivers 2,200 litres per hour at 2.2 bar. This higher setting supports sprinkler operation and water transfer through longer hoses.

Convenient Timer Settings and Automatic Protection

The TPA 20 features three selectable operating intervals of 5, 10 and 15 minutes. These convenient timer settings help users manage pumping tasks without constantly monitoring the equipment.

An integrated dry-running protection system automatically switches off the pump when no water is detected. This helps protect internal components against unnecessary wear while reducing wasted battery energy. The double sealing system provides additional protection, while a removable integrated filter simplifies cleaning and routine maintenance.

Portable Battery Power and Efficient Runtime

Using the recommended STIHL AS 2 battery, the TPA 20 provides convenient cordless operation across different outdoor locations. Depending on the selected power level, battery runtime ranges from approximately 15 to 49 minutes. At maximum output, one fully charged AS 2 battery can transfer approximately 550 litres of water. This makes it practical for watering gardens or emptying smaller water containers.

Practical Accessories for Easy Setup

The TPA 20 includes a submersible pump unit, power unit and 2.5-metre connecting cable for flexible positioning. Supplied accessories also include a barrel hook, 2.5-metre hose, hose guide and shut-off valve. Quick-connect fittings and three hose adapters provide convenient connections for different hose sizes.
