The Honda WT20 Trash Water Pump is designed for moving dirty water containing silt, debris and abrasive material. Its robust construction makes it ideal for construction sites, commercial applications, lakes and rivers where demanding conditions are common.

A heavy-duty 2-inch pump configuration provides the capacity required for substantial water movement. This makes the WT20 particularly useful when ordinary clean-water pumps are unsuitable for the material being handled.

Dependable Honda GX160 Engine Power

Power comes from a 163cc Honda GX160 commercial-grade OHV engine, developed to provide reliable performance under demanding working conditions. Its straightforward starting characteristics help operators begin work efficiently when water needs removing quickly.

Honda’s Oil Alert technology automatically stops the engine when the oil level falls below a safe operating point. This protective system helps prevent avoidable engine damage caused by insufficient lubrication.

High-Capacity Water Movement

The WT20 can move approximately 700 litres of water per minute, allowing substantial volumes to be transferred efficiently. This high discharge capacity is particularly beneficial for flooded areas and other demanding water-removal applications.

A total head lift of approximately 26 metres provides strong pumping capability when water must travel vertically. The pump also offers a suction head of approximately eight metres, providing useful flexibility across different locations.

Designed to Handle Debris

Unlike conventional water pumps, the WT20 can handle solids measuring up to 13/16 inches in diameter. This capability makes it particularly effective when water contains debris that could cause problems for less robust pumps.

A heavy-duty metal strainer helps prevent oversized material from entering the pump during operation. This allows suitable solids and substantial water volumes to pass while helping protect important internal components.

Durable Impeller and Pump Construction

The conical cast iron impeller is shaped to support effective priming and high discharge performance. Its wide vanes also help resist wear and reduce clogging when pumping debris-filled water.

A rigid-mounted cast iron volute provides additional durability by reducing wear within the pump case. The replaceable stainless steel wear plate further supports longevity while helping keep future maintenance straightforward.

The WT20 also incorporates a silicon carbide mechanical seal for excellent resistance against abrasive materials. This durable seal helps maintain the vacuum required for dependable pumping performance.

Straightforward Cleaning and Servicing

A removable inspection cover with quick-release bolts provides convenient access when internal debris requires clearing. This practical design can reduce downtime by making routine cleaning quicker and easier.

Honda also supplies a multi-purpose service tool for accessing the pump case, plugs and hose couplings. This provides useful assistance when completing routine servicing away from a workshop.
