STIHL TS 800 Disc Cutter

An extremely powerful 16 inch cut-off saw.

With a 5.0 kW engine and a 16 inch / 400 mm cutting wheel, this disc cutter is a robust, high-performance machine complete with several features to enhance ease-of-use and operator comfort. Supplied as standard with an abrasive cutting wheel and suitable for use by hand or in conjunction with the FW 20 cart.

Comfortable to work with

The intense vibrations at the handles of power tools can pose health risks if you are exposed to them over a long period. STIHL have worked hard to create their anti-vibration technology, which dampens engine oscillations to significantly reduce handle vibrations. This allows you to work for longer, without fatigue, as well as protecting you against the ill effects mentioned above. The TS 800 also has a particularly ergonomic grip position and loop handle, which allows for excellent cutting comfort in any working position.

Durable, robust & simple to operate

Semi-automatic drive belt tensioning ensures light, consistent re-tensioning that increases the service life of the belts and shaft bearings. A pre-separation air filtration system similarly achieves perceptibly longer filter life compared with standard technology, by ensuring larger, heavier particles are ejected in advance. Water is supplied to the cutting wheel through a standard water connection with sprinkler system, to suppress the dust produced during cutting while not interfering with your work. 

Powerful yet efficient performance

With a 5.0 kW STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can rely on the power the TS 800 has to offer. Being a 2-stroke engine with stratified charge, the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle is reduced. This gives more power with a lower weight, saving up to 20 percent on fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reducing exhaust emissions. With the ElastoStart system, the shock caused by the compression of this powerful engine during starting is taken away from your joints and muscles using an element in the starter handle.
