An 18 inch / 45 cm bar along with a 45.7 cc X-Torq engine make this a great saw for use cutting timber (small to medium diameter), firewood and general farm and estate maintenance. The X-Torq technology also has advantages to fuel consumption and emission levels, so you can work more cheaply and with less of an impact on the environment. With the inclusion of felling marks, your cutting accuracy is also improved.

Excellent build quality with simple operator maintenance

A forged three-piece crankshaft gives the 445 model extra durability and ensures it can deal with tougher jobs. Thanks to a quick-release air filter and snap-lock cylinder cover, the filter and spark plugs are easy to access for cleaning and replacement. You are also able to view the fuel level while you work with the machine, ensuring you aren't caught without fuel on a job, and when the time does come it's easy to top up, with a flip-up tank cap.

Simple to operate & comfortable to use

Benefiting from Husqvarna's LowVib and SmartStart technologies, the 445 has quick, reliable and easier starting, as well as reduced vibrations in your arms and hands thanks to the anti-vibration dampeners present in the machine. Other advantages come from combined choke and stop controls, making general operation more straightforward, while an inertia chain brake gives extra peace of mind by stopping the saw if a sudden upward movement is detected. You can also adjust the chain easily with the side-mounted tensioner.
