About the HUSQVARNA Automower® 310 Mark II Robotic Mower (physical wire)
Versatile, efficient and with a user-friendly design, the Husqvarna 310 Mark II Automower® comes with a host of clever features, which make it a great choice of robot mower, for a very wide range of gardens.
The Husqvarna 310 Mark II Automower®
Weighing 9.4 kg, the Husqvarna 310 Automower® measures 57 cm (L) x 43 cm (W) x 25 cm (H) and is powered by a lithium ion 2.1 Ah battery. Rugged, stylish and completely emission free, it uses a boundary wire to mow lawns up to 1,000m² with a high-precision finish, every time.
Including three razor-sharp, pivoting blades, this robot mower has a cutting width of 22 cm. It is designed to mow little but often, so as to promote a lush, healthy lawn. You can adjust the cutting height to between 20 and 50 mm to ensure your lawn is mowed to your exact requirements.
The Husqvarna Automower 310 Mark II can also handle uneven terrain, including slopes of up to 40% (15% on the lawn’s perimeter). And with a perceived sound level of just 59 dB(A), it is very quiet when operating.
The Automower® Connect App
As soon as you’ve connected this robot mower to Husqvarna’s Automower® Connect@Home app, you can control it from your smartphone or tablet, via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
This excellent app allows you to manage the Husqvarna 310 Mark 2’s settings and monitor its operations, as well as access useful advice on lawncare.
The Systematic Passage Mowing Feature
The 310 Mark 2 features a setting called ‘Systematic Passage Mowing’. This dramatically reduces the likelihood of bumps and reduces the number of turns required, so minimising the risk of wheel marks appearing on your lawn.
Automatic Passage Handling (Patented)
This robot mower also includes sensors to help it navigate narrow passageways. Wherever possible, the mower will alter its route through the passage, once again to avoid wheel marks showing on the lawn.
Spiral and Spot Cutting Modes
If part of your lawn has particularly long grass, you can activate the Automower 310 Mark II’s Spiral Cutting feature. This ensures that the cutting disc sensors will detect the long grass as soon as the mower enters the area in question. It will then adjust its cutting technique by adopting a systematic spiral pattern of mowing.
Spot cutting follows a similar principle and is ideal for mowing a small area of long grass quickly, such as underneath garden furniture. In this situation, the Husqvarna AM 310 moves in very tight spirals to mow the area as efficiently as possible. Once it’s completed the job, the mower will automatically resume cutting on its regular setting.
Protecting Your Lawn from the Weather
The Husqvarna 310 Mark II’s Weather Timer feature adjusts mowing times to suit the changing seasons. For example, the robomower will be more active during periods of strong grass growth but spend less time mowing in dry weather or later in the season. This ensures that your lawn always looks pristine and prevents unnecessary work being carried out.
Frost Guard is another of the 310 Mark II’s weather-beating features. It ensures that the robotic mower suspends its schedule in the event of frost, so protecting your lawn from damage.
Mowing Multiple Gardens
The Husqvarna 310 Mk II can be programmed to mow separate gardens differently. Using the Automower® Connect@Home app, you can allocate each garden its own name and then quickly switch between their customised settings, through the main menu of the app.
Setting Up Secondary Areas
If your lawn is divided into separate areas, but there isn’t a connecting route between them, you can create what is called a ‘secondary area’.
Simply set the perimeter wire around this zone, then manually move the Husqvarna robot 310 into it. Once you set the lawnmower down, it will resume cutting on your chosen setting.
Safe and Secure Robotic Mowing
Should the Automower 310 Mark 2 be lifted off the ground or tilt over, it will immediately cease mowing as a safety precaution.
For your added peace of mind, this robotic mower is also fitted with an anti-theft alarm.
Charging the Automower 310 Husqvarna
The Automower Husqvarna 310 has a charging time of 60 minutes. On a full charge, its running time is also 60 minutes. After completing its work, this robot mower will automatically return to its charging station to prepare for the next job.
The Husqvarna 310 Is Simple to Clean
This robot mower is incredibly easy to clean. It’s perfectly safe to wash the exterior and underside of the machine with a garden hose.
You can also remove the Husqvarna 310 MK2’s body and top cover in order to access any other parts that might need cleaning.
Husqvarna Automower 310 Mark II Installation
Please note that when purchasing the Husqvarna 310 Mark II Automower®, you will also need to buy an installation kit, including perimeter wire. This provides your mower with everything it needs to map out its designated mowing area.
