The STIHL RT 5097 Z petrol ride-on mower is powered by a mighty STIHL EVC 7000 twin cylinder engine for exceptional performance.

Precision cutting with an adjustable heights system

With an excellent cutting heights system with 8 different heights to choose from, the user can easily adjust the cutting heights using a central lever located by the drivers seat and choose between 30 to 100 mm for the desired cutting finish.

Furthermore, thanks to an electromagnetic clutch; the user can switch the cutting deck on or off at the touch of a button using the control panel, making it easier than ever to control the cutting results whilst using the mower.

Equipped with an excellent catching system; the RT 5097 Z does the hard work of directing the grass towards the 2 angled blades for a precise  and clean cut every time.  

Collect the cuttings in a super large grass catcher box

Thanks to an excellent grass catcher box design; the user is able to continue working to get the job done and minimise the need to stop to empty the large grass catcher box which can hold up to 250 litres of cuttings.  When it is time to empty the box; simply pull the bow handle by the drivers seat to empty the box.  Thanks to a sleek design of the grass catcher box;  the maintenance on the box is simple, and it is easy to clean.

There is also the option to mulch with a mulch insert that can be purchased separately.

Adjust for ultra comfort levels

Expect nothing but comfort when it comes to using the ride-on mower; with its low step for easy access, spacious leg room and the spring- loaded seat that can be adjusted to suit the user's height and preference. 

Furthermore, thanks to a stable and strong frame, combined with large and reliable turf tyres; the RT 5097 Z is a delight to drive in, providing the user with stability, traction and comfort, all whilst reducing the damage that may be caused onto the lawn unnecessarily.  

Ideal for easy navigation

With the use of a single-pedal drive, the user is able to conveniently navigate the ride-on mower with ease, making turning or reversing a breeze, whilst giving the user full control of the speed and brake pedals to stop immediately if required.  

Thanks to an integral trailer hitch on the RT 5097 Z; the user has the option to connect either a trailer or other attachments as they see fit.
