The TS 500i is an innovative disc cutter from STIHKL, with electronically controlled fuel injection giving it exceptional consistency and performance. Supplied with a 14 inch / 350 mm abrasive cutting wheel and available to be used by hand or with the FW 20 cart.
Innovative, high-power performance
Thanks to STIHL's unique electronically controlled fuel injection system, you can rely on the TS 500i's perfect running properties whenever you use the machine. Fuel consumption is reduced compared to tools without injection technology, and the 2-stroke 2-MIX engine present in this unit offers excellent power with fantastic efficiency. Due to the engine's stratified charge, the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle is reduced, resulting in more power with a lower weight and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.
Comfortable operation
STIHL's ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting, taking the shock away from the user's joints and arms using an element in the starter handle. A manual fuel pump helps to reduce the number of starting strokes required, while anti-vibration technology dampens the engine's oscillations to significantly reduce vibrations at the handles. An ergonomic grip position, combined with loop-handled control, makes it easy to achieve excellent cutting comfort in any working position.
An easy-to-use, durable & robust machine
Semi automatic drive belt tensioning increases the service life of the belts and shaft bearings of this machine, while a pre-separation air filtration system ejects larger, heavier particles to achieve perceptibly longer filter life than conventional technology. Electronic water control means you can easily regulate water volume to the machine using simple buttons while the engine is running. The water will switch on and off automatically, depending on engine speed, ensuring optimum dust suppression at the touch of a button.
