Cancellations – cancel your order in full within 14 days from when you receive your order

In accordance with UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order in full within 14 days, starting the day after you receive your delivery in full. You must inform us in writing of your wish to cancel within 14 days, where you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us with a completed returns form. You must return the goods to us at your own costs*, and ensure they are in the same saleable condition which they were received, and unused. Refunds (excluding any postage and packaging costs) will be processed by Ron Smith & Co within 10 days of receiving your returned order. We reserve the right to make any appropriate deductions based on the condition of the return.

Returns – return part of your order within 14 days from when you receive your order

You have the right to return part of your order for any reason within 14 days, starting the day after you receive the item(s) ordered. You must return the goods to us at your own costs*, and ensure they are in the same saleable condition which they were received, and unused – don’t forget to include a completed returns form. We reserve the right to make any appropriate deductions based on the condition of the return.

*we do offer a chargeable uplift service if required. Uplift (UK mainland only) is charged at £80 for boxes or £120 for pallets (for pallets it is your responsibility to secure the machine to the pallet for return). Please contact us to arrange this.

Terms and Conditions

Returns

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days from the date you received your purchase.
  • Items must be in their original state and condition and in the original packaging.
  • Include any invoice, packing slip, or proof of purchase as well as the return form.
  • Please allow 10 business days for the processing of returned items.
  • For large items, contact us for collection. The cost of both postage and collection will be deducted from your refund.
  • Please note clearance items are exempt from returns.

Refunds

  • Customers will be notified via email upon receipt of returned item.
  • An additional email will be sent within 10 business days of receipt regarding the status of the return.
  • It may take up to 14 days for a refund to post to the account utilized for purchase.
  • A 25% administration fee will be deducted from the value of the refund.

Shipping and Handling Charges

  • Shipping charges applied to the original purchase are non-refundable.
  • Shipping costs for returned items are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

Warranty Items

  • If your item is faulty or damaged upon receipt, please contact us at sales@ronsmith.co.uk to arrange collection and repair/replacement.
  • There is a nationwide dealer network (see below) that may be an easier option than returning your item to us so please contact us first.
  • If upon inspection any damage is due to customer misuse, this will be chargeable.

Aftersales – for immediate issues with your delivery

You may need to contact us if there are any immediate issues with your order after it has been received, such as missing items or machines that have been delivered damaged/faulty. Please email sales@ronsmith.co.uk and we will get back to you shortly.

If you aren’t local to Worcestershire and experience any faults with your machine going forward, you may like to make use of the nationwide dealer network. An authorised local dealer can diagnose the problem and advise if any repair work is under warranty or chargeable, and conduct the repair.
