A green lawnmower for medium-sized domestic lawns
From Hayter's environmentally friendly Green Series, this lawnmower has a 48 cm working width and is ideal for relatively flat medium-sized domestic lawns up to 500m2 (roughly the size of 2 tennis courts). It is self-propelled with a drive speed of 1.0 – 3.3 mph making it almost-effortless to use compared to a push model. Hayter machines are proudly made in Britain.
Getting the most out of cordless technology
Powered by the latest cordless technology, the recommended battery and charger (sold separately) are the 7.5 Ah battery and the 60 V battery charger; other options are available to suit certain user requirements. The right amount of power is provided at any time for maximum operation and efficiency thanks to the built-in Power Boost technology. There are numerous benefits to battery power, primarily machines are quieter, cleaner, and have no operational restrictions , meaning they can be applied at any time, any where without causing a disturbance.
An impressive cut and collection system
A single height-of-cut lever controls the cutting height position between 7 pre-determined positions from 13 – 60 mm. By setting the height of cut above the height of the grass, the Harrier 48 will collect leaves from the surface of the lawn, too. Gathering cuttings in the grass collector is aided by Vari-PitchTM technology which adjusts the air flow depending on the length of the grass for efficient collection. Once full, the collector can be removed by conveniently lifting it through the handlebars and emptied.
Additional features for a premium performance time and time again
The integrated rear roller gives the lawn a sought-after striped finish, taking care not to mark the turf when turning resulting in pristine finish. Similarly, Hayter's Trim Side feature allows for mowing right up to the edges of the lawn, regardless of boundaries and borders for a uniform look. When not in use the handlebars fold down for a space-saving storage solution.
Cleaning the underside of the lawnmower doesn't require much effort, just attach a hose to the hose connector and let it run. The Harrier 48 really is a long-lasting machine, it's aluminium deck is backed by their lifetime guarantee*.
