Customisable with your engine preference

With the BCS 740, you can choose from a Honda, Briggs & Stratton or Yanmar engine, depending on your preference and the jobs you will be carrying out. The Honda engine is the GX390, a 11.7hp petrol model that you can choose to have with either recoil or electric starting. The other petrol engine is Briggs & Stratton's 12hp 2100 model, with recoil starting only, while Yanmar provide the diesel options with their L100N, again available with either electric or recoil start.

These are renowned manufacturers that make some of the most reliable and powerful engines out there. The BCS 740 also enjoys three forward and three reverse gears, allowing you to work up to a maximum speed of 4.53 km/hr.

A comfortable, safe & easy to use machine

Utilising BCS's innovative PowerSafe clutch, both the drive and implement are stopped when you let go of the operator presence lever but not the engine. This allows for easy operation yet makes the BCS 740 perhaps the safest two wheel tractor available on the market today. In addition, the locking differential and steering brakes help give you complete control over your machine, with the large 5.00 x 10 wheels also excelling whether you are working on icy pavements or wet mud.

Thanks to 180 degree rotatable handles and strong PTO gears, you will find the BCS 740 a fantastic machine when working with any one of its 25+ compatible attachments. You can carry out mowing tasks with the scythe cutter bars, disc, flail, mulching and rotary mowers, ground cultivation with a tined cultivator, ridger, ploughs and potato lifter, and a great range of all-round chores with a power brush, chipper shredder, and many more.

If you are likely to be using multiple implements, you can also fit a quick coupling attachment that allows you to easily swap your implements as necessary.
