An entry-level power scythe for cutting vegetation of any height and density
The BCS 614 Crusader Power Scythe is an entry-level scythe suitable for cutting vegetation of any height and density covering 1-3 acres, so long as it is under 1 inch in diameter. This model comes with a Honda GP160 petrol engine and an 80 cm cutter bar.
Batter than a traditional strimmer and conventional rotary and flail mower
The power scythe is quicker and more productive than a traditional strimmer; it will cut cleanly through long grass, brambles, bracken, gorse, wildflowers, reeds, thistles, nettles, weeds, and sampling, and allow seed heads to remain intact and propagate (unlike conventional rotary and flail mowers).
The scythe will do the work for you
The power scythe has 1 forward speed and 1 reverse speed, 2.68 km/h and 1.05 km/h respectively. Along with powerful cutting teeth user input is kept to a minimum with the scythe doing the work for you.
More than just a scythe
This power scythe can be fitted with additional implements, turning it into a multi-purpose machine. Sold separately, these include various snow brush, blower, and blade attachments, although please note that ground cultivation attachments are unsuitable as the handlebars do not rotate.
