A 0.95kW petrol brushcutter ideal for areas of tough grass.
Thanks to many user-friendly features, the FS 90 is a great bike-handled brushcutter that can really take the strain out of maintaining tricky ground.
Clever STIHL engine technology
STIHL's 4-MIX engine technology runs on a fuel-oil mix, just like a 2-stroke engine, but with all the benefits and none of the compromises of 4-stroke power. These include fast acceleration, more torque and power, lower noise and emissions, and increased fuel efficiency, to complete jobs more quickly, more quietly and more easily.
Painless starting procedure
A decompression valve in the engine allows some of the pressure in the cylinder to escape, which means you require less force on the starter rope to get going. Following breaks in operation, a small fuel pump can be used to deliver fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, which reduces the number of starting strokes required in these situations. An electronic ignition module allows reliable starting and trouble-free running, and with the ignition system being fully encapsulated, it has reliability you can count on.
With an anti-vibration system built in, the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened to significantly reduce the vibrations at the handles. In addition, the bike handle which comes as standard with this model provides an excellent, smooth mowing action and means the machine can be easily guided, when used in conjunction with a harness. The handle can be easily adjusted without using tools, and rotation up to 90 degrees ensures the FS 90 can be easily transported and stored.
