STIHL's high-tech clearing saw suitable for forestry applications.
With a short shaft, optimised 25 degree gear system and chisel tooth blade, the FS 360 C-EM K is suitable for use as a saw in forestry applications.
A powerful, efficient engine
Powered by STIHL's 2-stroke engine with stratified charge, their unique 2-MIX technology minimises the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. For the end user, this results in more power at a lower weight, up to 20 percent less fuel consumption (compared to regular 2-stroke machines) and significantly lower exhaust emissions. A large, easily accessible fuel tank and long service life air filter further cement the FS 360 C-EM K's position as a well-designed, well-thought-out tool.
Advanced engine management
A fully electronic engine management system adjusts ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating modes. This 'M-Tronic' system even takes temperature, altitude and fuel quality into account to ensure consistent engine performance, a constant maximum speed and excellent acceleration. There are additional benefits to ease of starting (backed up by the ErgoStart system and simplified starting procedure), and cold/warm start recognition means there is only one start position on the combi-lever. M-Tronic remembers the settings from the last time you used the tool, ensuring optimal performance when you start up again.
Comfortable & easy to use
As well as the easy starting procedure already mentioned, further innovations include a winter setting slide control, which can prevent the air filter and carburettor from freezing. A 4-point anti-vibration system uses steel springs to reduce the transmission of vibrations to the handle, allowing you to work for longer without fatigue. The bike handle can be adjusted, even up to 90 degrees for ease of storage and transportation, and when used with a harness enables a smooth mowing action.
