The 455CSX chainsaw is from Mitox’s premium range, ideal for a variety of applications around the domestic home. The chainsaw comes complete with a superior Oregon guide bar and chain measuring 18 inch / 45 cm, offering maximum cutting performance and durability.

Fitted with a premium petrol engine

A quality Mitox 45.4 cc petrol engine powers the chainsaw, and provides power output levels produced by higher priced premium brands; the SmartPull recoil assist system makes starting the chainsaw a simple task. The new chain brake system stops the chain in 0.15 seconds to reduce the chance of injury; this can be activated manually or by inertia in the event of a kick-back.

Design features make it a pleasure to use

Anti-vibration handles minimise vibrations felt by the user for comfortable operation. Similarly, ergonomic controls and the excellent weight distribution make it pleasure to use. The fuel tank features an integrated window which clearly shows the fuel level to the user, limiting downtime as re-fueling is done only when needed.

Quick and easy maintenance access

Removing the cover to access the air filter and spark plug doesn’t require any tools; where a tool is required for the chain cover removal, this is integrated into the extra wide rear handle which also offers protection for the operators hand.
