The larger than life Mountfield 1736H lawn tractor is powered by the 586cc Mountfiled ST 550 Twin cylinder engine, delivering a net power output of 10.8 kW. With a cutting width of 92cm the ride-on mower is ideal for cutting lands of up to 2.5 acres in size. Choose from 7 different blade heights ranging from 25mm up to 80mm with the lever conveniently beside your seat, to tackle any lawn length for a superb cut every time.
Hydrostatic transmission makes it easy to operate
Hydrostatic transmission gives superb driving comfort by using just one pedal to change speed and choose a forward or reverse direction, offering smooth acceleration and easy adjustment of power and speed particularly when performing any tight manoeuvres around obstacles for example. All Mountfield tractors including this model cut wider than the wheels for added efficiency, meaning there is little-to-no trimming required afterwards.
Collection or mulch modes
Grass clippings can be collected in the large 290 Litre collector situated at the rear of the machine which can easily be emptied from the drivers seat thanks to a handy lever, when the automatic alarm lets you know it's full to prevent any jams. Alternatively if conditions allow, you can effortlessly fit a mulching plug (sold separately) by removing the collector and putting it in the discharge chute, so that finely cut grass is spread back onto the lawns surface providing moisture and vital nutrients to the soil.
Additional user-friendly features
You don't have to get your hands dirty to clean the deck with Mountfield's unique wash facility enabling you to attach a hose pipe where the water will engage the cutting blades and clean it for you. Further user-friendly features include a tow hitch so that the tractor can be used with trailers, rollers and fertiliser spreaders for example, and headlights to allow you to keep mowing for longer.
