These plastic felling wedges from STIHL have a polyamide, textured surface, which results in extra grip to prevent them from slipping. They are also impact-resistant, even at low temperatures. 

Available in three sizes, the 19 cm (7 inch) model is ideal for medium wood, the 23 cm (9 inch) model is for medium and thick wood, while the 25 cm (10 inch) model gives an enlarged wedge angle.
